Yuki- One of my very best friends. She and I talk about everything. I can trust her with everything. However, she has a tendency to burst out with embarrassing information, most likely in front of someone I’m trying to impress.
Katie- One of my very best friends. She and I can gab about everything. She is the friend I gossip to. I know she won’t shoot me down for my opinions. However, she gets angry easily. And when she’s tired, she’s as good as drunk.
George (aka PJ)-A senior I have a pretty big crush on. He’s my indirect superior in band and likes to act paternal of me. He makes faces at me and asks me how I’m doing when I’m quiet. But he does get little authority bursts where he feels he can boss us around. Which he can. His codename is derived from his bright purple jacket.
Ringer Shirt- The guy who broke my heart about a month ago. Named for his famous usage of ringer shirts and jeans. He’s incredibly gifted but doesn’t show it. He can take things too seriously and is something of a player.
Spencer- My carefully-witted drum major. He’s hilarious and defies his parents all the time, which I resent him for because he’s a drum major. But he’s really nice and easy to talk to. A good leader. He talks to George for us when we need to tell him that we’re ticked.
Director- AAAAH! Not the Director! He’s my band director, usually somewhat neurotic, and not in the cool way. He enjoys making us suffer for others’ mistakes. I can see the reasoning behind most of what he does, but some of it seems like psychological torture.
Bass Drum Kid- The bass drum kid. Who else? D: He’s nice and in my bio and lit classes. I try to get to know him, but it fails. He’s really nice.
Matthis Brothers Furniture (aka Furniture)- Snare drum kid. He’s in my history class. Katie and I are kind of competing for him. He’s nice and squirrely. He’s always the one who raises his hand in history.
Lauren- An immature girl who just doesn’t get love. She is quick to judge guys who I have feelings for, and she has yelled at me for the whole senior thing at least twice.
Clarissa- An insulting girl who also doesn’t get love. Her favorite word is can’t, to give you an idea. Most often gangs up with Lauren on me.
Dang- Really good-looking junior in the drama club and battery. Katie and I suspect he’s a player because of the way the girls are all over him. It is unknown if he has a significant other.
Pit Socials- A junior and a sophomore, I believe. They know I have a crush on George, and I explicitly told them not to tell anyone or show it at all. They love to gab with each other and play-fight. They’re often hilarious, as they’re best friends.
Ghost- A freshman I met at a football game. One of Katie’s friends. My first love-at-first-sight. He’s in the marching band and he and Katie seem to think he’ll see me again eventually, but I doubt it. He showed me how things could be better and left.
Percussion Director- Notoriously good-looking, though he’s probably twenty years older than me. When I came to percussion workshops for the first time, I totally had a crush on him. *is slapped* Not anymore.
The Pecker- Named for his annoying pecking on random auxiliary pit instruments. It drives Yuki absolutely insane. He tends to ramble on and on about his various family happenings, and I’m usually stuck listening to them because I don’t want to be rude.
Meowth- He helps me out a lot by moving the chimes and saving me from The Pecker. He’s very good at rhythms because he used to play drums. He may/may not have a crush on me; it’s hard to tell because he restricts facial movements.
